The undersigned is directed to inform you that the Executive Council of the Vidyasagar University on 29.06.2004 considered the Inspection Report submitted by the duly constituted Inspection Team and granted temporary affiliation to 3-Year Ll.B Course of Sarsuna Law College, Sarsuna, Kolkata which will run the course from the academic session 2004-2005 :

The terms & conditions of affiliation of the above courses :
|
|
01. The College must be a whole time day college.
|
|
02. Teacher student ratio 1 : 40.
|
|
03. The College should remain open for 51/2 hours.
|
|
04. The Principal must be a whole time teacher with requisite qualifications & experiences.
|
|
05. The college must have at least 2 whole time teachers with requisite qualifications.
|
|
06. The teachers must possess a postgraduate degree in Law with 55% marks in aggregate.
|
|
07. A class should not exceeds 60 students.
|
|
08. The college will run only 3 Year LL.B Course as prescribed by the Bar Council of India.
|
|
09. The college must have its own building with 3 Years of commencement of the course.
|
|
10. Admission must be on merit basis throughout admission test.
|
|
11. Rs. 3.00 Lacs should be spend on books, report, periodicals etc.
|
|
12. College shall make arrangement for boarding of outside students.
|
|
13. The University should send Inspection Team once a year.
|
|
14. The college will be managed according to V.U. Act, Ordinance, Statute, Rules and decision of Vidyasagar University Authority.
|
|
15. All the Statutory Committees including Board of Studies and Governing Body shall be constituted as per V.U. Rules.
|
|
16. An affiliation fee is to be paid by the Institution every year to the University, the amount of which would be fixed by the Executive Council, Vidyasagar University and would be communicated later on.
|
|
|
|
An early reply accepting the terms and conditions of granting affiliation of the 3-Year Ll.B Course of Sarsuna Law College should reach the undersigned with a copy to the Inspector of Colleges within 31st July, 2004.
