How pleasure it is at this moment to be able to welcome all taken in as students to ‘Sarsuna Law College’. Sarsuna Law College has the unique distinction of being one of the brilliant academic institutions in West Bengal teaching law at 3-year LL.B. course. The institution is affiliated to Vidyasagar University and enjoys recognition of Bar Council of India, New Delhi.

The college has a good and efficient faculty which is a mix of the young and senior teachers. The law college prides itself in its infrastructure facilities including a modern library with a huge collection of text books, reference books and national and international Journals.

Law is an instrument of social change or, as justice Holmes put it – “ flexible instrument of social order .” For advancement of society and civilization law is considered to be one of the pillars. To keep in tune with the time there are legal luminaries to excel in ridding of Mounting problems, making and unmaking Laws by legislations, lively at one and listless at the other, and all this is for better social order.

I hope the students studying law in this college will uphold the justice in every step towards society and life. “ One should not forget that the injustice arises when equals are treated unequally and when unequals are treated equally” as put it by Aristotle, the wisest man of the world.
